1982 Yamaha yt125 will not fire

Cannot get this trike running. Clean gas, carb, reeds new plug, air filter. This trike will not fire at all. I took the exhaust pipe off and it was full f gas. When trying to start, gas goes through the cylinder and out the exhaust with no fire at all. Please help

I had a buddy that had a old one of those ik the stator is a last resort but i would check connections on it not sure if them had a electric box like a cdi but if they do i would check that those can cause them not to fire and i have seen them cheaper than a new stator
