Hey everyone. Just found this hacked up 200x for sale for 650$. It says it has a lt250 front end on it. The seller said he would give me 250sx forks with it for an extra 50 bucks. I am wondering if I should buy it and convert it back to its original glory. Where I'm from the 200x is like a needle in a haystack lol!

I would try and take it back to its original glory. but 650 sounds a little high if its in rough shape. to get it back to running well with no issues could be 50$ or 500$ I would offer 500 with the 250 forks because unless its in showroom shape the best there worth here in az is 1000-1200 really nice upgraded ones can go as high as 3000 depends on the upgrades

I wouldn't offer more than 400. That frame is jacked up.

You'll probably need a new frame id wait for a original one! And the 250sx forks weren't as good as the 200xs

I've found.........when your looking for something that's when it's the most expensive.

That pile of cap for $700 with the 250 front end??......he must really think he's got a real nice piece of ass for sale.

Something will pop up cheaper and better when your not looking. Go play some black ops or go fishing or take a nice ride on a bike........when your totally not thinking about it Boom!!......one for sale cheap will pop up.

Good luck

Edit.......have you thought about having one imported in? I'm ignorant to the logistics of it so maybe it's unfeasible but just for the math........you get a nicer one for $1000 and then say another $1000 to transport it for a total of $2000. Then you get something way nicer that you don't have to wrench and constantly work on and is "ride ready" because by the time you get that pile sorted out you may be near the 2K mark anyways. Heck my X was running and rideable and I'm still into it for $500 to get it corrected and up to speed and I'm being cheap. Just some thoughts

hey trike life. I have a 200x that you might be interested in the rolling chassis is 100$ and the motor is 200$. the frame is in good shape axle is straight it has all the rear brake setup, complete wiring harness tank, plastics, and a extra set of tires and wheels. I have family that's from Canada I would love to get this to you but I don't know what the freight cost would be but it sounds like it might be cheaper to buy from me and you wont get something that's cut up. my tike is pretty rust free. if you just bought the frame and tires I think the shipping would be around 200 let me know if your interested you can call or text if its easier 4803229107 also the engine has new trans gears and new kicker spring and kicker gears from another motor that were much beter than the ones I had also comes with complete gasket set the motor also comes with carb and thumb throttle

It may be on the cheaper end since he's from Alberta, if i read right. I think that's pretty much straight north of you.

Really? $300 from AZ to Alberta Canada? For an ATV?? They were going to charge me $900 to get a CB450 race bike from Vancouver to San Diego.

If that's the case I wouldn't piddle with anything local and get something from socal where they are clean and a dime a dozen

its all n the size of the box the smaller you can make it the cheaper the weight has a lot to do with it to but not as much i shipped some jet ski parts out the other day and the boxes were within 5lbs of each other but because one was 2 times as big it was more than double the cost. to make the bike cheaper take tires and wheels off and put down handle bars make the box 2ft shorter and not as long might save money. there are simple freight apps out there where the big companies fight for your business and just put in dimensions and weight and they will put in bids and the price was 300-400 depending on who you picked for carrier but all said 2-3 days to ottowa so i think it may be cheaper if it is more of a straight shot
