View Full Version : 1984 YTM restoration

I'm completely new to forums, and had a friend suggest I try it out. I am doing a complete rebuild/restore on a 1984 YTM 200 chain. Any suggestions on getting the decals that are correct? I can only find the shaft drive ones or sets that may belong on a different year model... thanks!

Try eBay.. I've had great luck finding parts for my 250r there.

Also... heat gun, no matter what temperature setting darkens the yellow plastic. What worked FAR better is 320,400,600,800,1000,2500, 5000 wet sanding, rubbing compound at 1500 rpm and a nice coat of wax and buff.
