Air cooled engine options for 350x.

I'd like to start getting an engine together for my 350x roller I got when I bought my 350x. I have searched and read for a week but could use some input. I'm working towards utility/yard work, lower geared sprockets etc.

What I want, is air cooled, electric start, reverse, chain drive and ideally auto clutch. I don't need big, more like 200-300cc's. I've been following matt350x's 400ex swap, which is awesome, but it may be more than I need.

I know the 300ex is possible, though I don't know the years to look for, and it doesn't get me an auto clutch. Are there options out there that will do it all?

Look for a 200SX quad motor, it has everything you're after. Would possibly be kind of funny in a 350X chassis, but it's your trike so go for it!

Maybe a 300ex with a rexluse clutch? Not sure if they make them for that engine but if they do it's a fairly easy engine swap

pretty sure every 300ex had reverse

The 250x had reverse its was basically the start of the 300ex
