I have the opportunity to trade my 1986 Honda 250r for a 1988 Suzuki Lt250r. Both are rebuild and in the same shape. Is it worth it in the long run? Resale? Parts? Etc

The Suzuki is a great bike. But I wouldn't trade it for the 250r. Better suspension and easier to get parts for ,OEM or aftermarket. Now if you had both...... your doing good.

Why would you be on a 3 wheeler site asking about trading a trike for a quad. That's just dumb.

Everyone has a quad but not everyone has an 88 lt250.......clean.

I'm feeling a little yellow and blue on this one

I'm no Suzuki fan by any means, but I'd have to seriously consider it for a Quadzilla too. For a 250? My only answer is that there's a reason that the TRX 250r ruled the National races for 13 years after production ended. Atc 250r? I doubt I'd even get rid of that, even for a Quadzilla.

I had a quadzilla. There was a reason they only made them for two years and nobody else ever tried. They were giant piles of dog doo. Run perfect first day blow up the next. Heavy. Handled bad. Horrible to find aftermarket parts for. Keep your Honda. I'd try to buy the lt250 that was a decent bike. But now in life I always ride red.
