Hey so I got this 84 110, little girl runs like a dream and in high shifts great. Little underpowered with me on it in high. When I put it in low range it will shift decent for a bit but will pop out of low range, seems to get stuck between low and high and is quite difficult to get back into either one. Took off the cover and everything looks pretty clean and not that worn out. Any help would be appreciated

Shift fork is probably worn or bent , theirs also a little ball an spring that hold the shift fork in place , make sure it's installed correctly and not missing . I've seen them put together backwards as well .

Are you talking #11 in the pic?

Yes # 11 holds the gear in place .

So I got it apart again and realized the little ball had come out of there, so I took it all apart and put it back together, I don't think anything else is missing but it's still happening. When it pops out of low range you can still shift through all the gears and and get it into neutral. But when it's in gear it sounds like a rattleing inside the H/L box. Anymore input would be much appreciated, just curious how far I'm going to have to dig here

If the H/L lever is moving or poping out like you say then you need to replace the fork and the related gears .
