Hello friends, I was wondering if anyone can give me some info? I have a 250 sx with rear end problems and was wondering what years interchanged with this machine? Thanks for any input, Dustin.

I'm not sure. If you want, send Flyingw a pm. He knows a lot about the sx's.

Any and all years ATC250ES and ATC250SX will bolt right up and work. It is known that the SX rear end has one tooth difference, thus making a Big Red faster than stock on top end. In other words, if you end up using an ATC250ES rear end, you will have a little less top speed and a little more power, but again, it will bolt right in. I am assuming you are just talking about the gear box, NOT the entire rear end - brakes / axle / swing arm.

Pinion gear and bearing, and housing is trashed.

Thanks for the info, I have a 1987 250 sx parts trike with a good differential I will use.
