250sx remove ignition cylinder from housing

Is there some trick to pull the ignition cylinder from the plastic housing on a 250sx ?

Just got my 2nd trike, (first an 84 200ES) and this is a 85 250sx and im stoked!

want to take the bars off to try to put on a riser, but can't quite figure out if there are knobs or its a firm twist - and leery to break something.

Complete switch? There are a couple tabs on the back side of the switch that hold it in.

2 plastic ears you pinch to pop it out.
