Ripped a thumb tendon apart awhile back and gonna have it repaired on August 18th. NOT looking forward to the notion of being one handed for quite awhile.
Kinda wondering how the heck I will be doing anything really,,,,
I am looking forward to the "self prescribed" pre op surgery appointment. Upper peninsula of Michagan ride/camp for 5 days with sevral members along the lake Superior coast line.
So yeah,,, no hobby work for couple months after this >>>

Best of luck to you John. Nothing better than a few days of riding and hanging with friends for pre-theraputic assistance. Enjoy the time up there, be safe and take some good pics/videos to share.

Good luck bud. If there is anything I can do, do not hesitate to ask. How did you do it? Sounds downright painful....

Hope you have a quick recovery.

Please take some pics if you can of the Sandpuppy ride. I know I am still wet behind the ears here but it is a great community. :)

May your physician’s hand be as steady as a Big Red in low gear and your recovery as swift as a WOT Tecate.

Blessed are those who reproduce obsolete parts saith the Lord.

You're setting the bar really high for yourself! Hahahahaha!!!

Gotta keep like this for 9 days.
Much like a thick sparring glove. Folks that I don't know that ask what happened to you I'm just gonna reply "another bar fight injury :)

Was that your dominate hand?

Ok. Put it this way, was it your clutch hand or throttle hand?

Clutch hand Jeremy. I am left handed by nature just to add into the mix.
Never was causing any pain. Got thru trikefest's 6 day camp/ride just fine. Done sweet upper Michigan peninsula ride with sevral members + friends 2 weeks ago,,,
Don't use clutch much anyway,,,, starting- stopping for sure but other then that just slip shift.
Next planned ride is the Baldwin, Mi. birthday ride for the October 6th. weekend. I'll be ready !
Should have taken more U.P. pictures ! That's member C.T.K. waiving at top of the light house we rode too one day.

I have to ask John, what's with the hanging upside down thing? Is that some radical new form of post op therapy?

Get well soon John. I delta with a dislocated shoulder a few years ago and being one handed for a few weeks is no fun.
