Looking at recommendations for a different carb setup to go into stock airbox assembly. (Trying to keep as close to oem as possible).

What do you mean by "a different carb setup"? Are you wanting a different carb? If so, I wouldn't go too much bigger than stock. You may have trouble fitting your stock air hose over it if you do.
