Yesterday i purchased a ATC for $100 It runs, starts up on first pull (no battery right now) doesn't smoke, reverse works and all electrical components work while running. (Head lights ect.) What i can't seem to do for the life of me is figure out what year it is, every vin decoder i try comes back "unknown" or with a 2016 Honda TRX lol. I believe it is a 125 or 150? I may be wrong. Aside from not being able to determine what year it is the only additional problem i have is after riding for a while, up and down hills ect it dies. Almost like the kill switch or key has been flipped, pressing the gas repeatedly does nothing for it, even dropping it into neutral attempting to rev or lifting the choke has no response it just dies. It has to sit a moment than i can pull it and it starts on the first pull and i can ride for a while. Any help would be greatly appreciated! If you can't read the vin or serial whatever it may be from the pictures of the neck than here it is.
