About two days ago I've managed to buy a Honda three wheeler for $100 and I haven't been able to identify what year is it, every vin verification i use or decoder comes back unknown or either a 2016 trx. It runs, doesn't smoke just not cosmetically pretty. If anyone would know the year and possibly have manuals for it as well that would be greatly appreciated. Vin/Serial what ever you want to call it from the neck JH3TE0104GK201186

Edit: After riding for a while it seems to die out completely as if someone flipped the kill switch and turned the key off, pressing the throttle does nothing and dropping it to neutral and attempting to use the throttle has no affect either. After a moment i can fire it right back up and it will run for a while and repeat, rough idling as well dying during idle sometimes. Has the original carburetor which i've taken off and cleaned VERY well float and all parts are still in very good condition, placed back on to the atc and the same issue occurs. Any thoughts?

Not sure about that number, but it looks like an '86 125m. Parts of your number lead to that, also.

You bet, bud! Thanks to Monroe Mike here for all the great information on id numbers. I'm not sure how to paste that, yet, but it's very helpful.

Could be CDI but I would think that it wouldnt immediately restart if it that were the case. CDI's dont go out very often.

Very often a clogged fuel screen can cause that and is very common with metal tanks. There could be screens in the tank or in the petcock sometimes.

CDI is probably bad. Getting hot and shutting it off. Also when it dies next time unscrew the fuel cap and see if it sucks air in

Doesn't seem to suck air in after it dies, i'll continue to test and triple check everything.
