Hi, i need a new airfilter. does any other filter fit the original airbox? twinair or some thing like that? brand name and partnumber would be great.

i could find one in the u.k thanks to your link. if i order in the us it will cost me shipping and aprox 22% tax + customs.

I bought an oem filter for my 83 250r and 200x this summer from local Honda Dealer.

Could I just remove the airbox and leave the air filter open? K&N?

I wouldn’t if I were you. Airboxes not only protect the motor from dust/dirt/sand but it also acts as a resonator for your intake tract.

Just in case you don't listen to yaegerb's advice, he also does a great job rebuilding these engines too.
