1983 Atc 250r axle bearing question

Hi, just gor my new moose racing bearings. there are three dust seals in the box... what ist the third one for? there was only two inside the carrier when i took it appart.

No idea. There are only two seals required for that carrier.

this kit fits more bikes, maybe for something else it will be needed.
