250sx/200x front end

doing the 200x front end conversion on my 85 250sx.where do the steering stops get welded onto the neck.not really sure how to space them out???also will the 250sx bearings work or do I need 200x bearings or are they the same???

I wish I could help, but the 200X front end was already on mine when I bought it. If I remember, the bearings are the same.

247924247925247926247927I did this conversion on the girlfriends bike. Wish I had pictures on this phone. What I did was put the tripples on the bike and welded the stops about a 1/4 inch before the tripples hit the tank. I'll go take some photos. Hope this helps?
