How do I find out the Vin number of my 3 wheeler, its a 83 125 alt Suzuki

Ya thats pretty much the question, If I have a title I have no clue where it is. And thinking back 25 year when I bought it . I'm not even sure if it is legal or not. I can't remember getting a title for it when I bought it. It's a complete blank. It's never left my property .So I know it wasn't registered for the road. Thanks any advice would be appreciated.

The VIN should be on the steering neck? On this alt185 (yup been sitting out for far too long) its clear as day when u turn the bars to the left. Its not stamped too deeply though so yours could be rubbed off or painted over maybe.
