84 200 es won't start

Big red won't start. I tried installing an LED light bar and then it died. would it be the stator or pick up coil that I fried?

The bike has spark and it turns over bypassing the start button. I'm trying to bypass all the electrical wiring that this bike has like the neutral or reverse. once I get it running I will
make sure all that other stuff gets hooked up. I will download a Manual and check wiring diagram and trouble shot just looking for some ideas. Thanks

Yes because I’m pretty sure it has an AC system

AC!? That would seem... odd. I have an 84 200M and I am pretty sure its all 12V DC.

correct it is 12v DC I just installed a led light last night no problem. however you might have blown the fuse it is under the seat near the battery.

More information would be helpful, OP.

Does it have electric start and does it turn the engine over?
How did you wire the LED light bar?
Have you checked for spark?
