Why can't I see my posts?

I just tried to post on my first thread and I get a message saying that the moderators have to view it first.

Is this normal, or am I the subject of some sort of discrimination?:wondering

Your initial posts need to be approved initially then you have to wait 2 months to get more privileges. Sorta like being a Pledge in a fraternity, or basic training.... pretty cool huh?
