Ok so after reading every rear brake mod i could find i decided to document what i did for my restore. I apologize a head of time for the quality of this post. It's really my first one.

I found out that any KX85 rear caliper from 2004 -2014 is a direct bolt on replacement for both your front and back caliper 83 or 84 atc250r!
Also found out that I could simply just make my own bracket and use the front master cylinder from the same years as well!
That makes it a Nissin brake system from the master to the caliper! Plus for around $85 you can get one as new as say 2010! That is what I did :)
I then purchased a +2 Gafler stainless brake line for $33 on eBay brand new.
The bracket in the pictures below is a prototype that is fully functioning. I intend to make a duplicate that looks nicer.

FRONT MASTER MOUNTING BRACKET

Step one:

Grind, cut, trace, drill & scratch head until i had the basic correct shape and mount points.:wondering
Buy two bushings to use as spacers
Buy two 1.5" M6 screws with washers and self locking nuts
