Please read all his posts before forming your conclusions. Aside from sharing his mechanical knowledge which is pretty good for a hobbyist like most of us are he's one of the few guys that brings his A game to the Open Forum and if you knew him in real life you'd know he'd give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.

I don't always agree with him, in fact I tend to disagree with him a fair bit when it comes to some topics as do many others here, but you're not in a position to question his worth at this time, so please don't.

These are the racer business inventors and craftsmen types. This place was one of common needs goals and commerce. The few that rule the roost in overt statements, self interjection of Internet personality has taken this place to its all time low. I do find it amazing at how easy it is to get pretty much the exact outcome you desire with just a handful of carefully chosen and placed words and phrases posted at the right time. Once the outcomes start to become unpredictable, that's a sign someone has been learning or they've figured something out. The outcomes are not yet unpredictable.

Everyone is entitled to opinions but this forum is alive and well with people that enjoy this hobby as well as each other's company. The crowd is ever evolving, you can watch people come and go all the time. I am a member of a lot of forums, all of which have been great sources of information for me over the years, but lack severely in the camaraderie department. In this forum we talk about anything and everything and we share a lot, sometimes too much. We evoke emotion and discuss very serious topics to a point of possibly too much seriousness, and at times we need to cool off. We are human beings and we go through a range of emotions which sometimes make their way on to this screen. I see nothing wrong with that myself and any threads I don't want to see I don't view and I don't partake in. I've made friends from this forum and met in person hundreds of three wheeler enthusiasts from three different countries globally (not including the US), and we're pretty great folk.

I find it amusing when a person who might classify themselves as god fearing take offense to the likeness of our friend Jesus being portrayed on this forum, especially because Jesus has said nothing crass or untoward in the least in my opinion. I love it when Jesus shares his thoughts on here. I think it kind of defeats the purpose of good will when someone suggests there might be consequences to pay for having some innocent fun. I like Jesus, he likes me, and we think this is funny. He told me to tell you to relax and laugh a little more. When I go to wherever it is we go after this life, if they take issue with the likeness of Jesus being portrayed on 3ww (in a respectful and comical way) and tell me I'm not allowed, that is not the place for me anyways my friend. Of course, that's merely fictional scenario I'm making up just to prove a point because I already know I'll be all set on the other side, and I wish the same to you my brother. Ideally you'll have no retribution to pay much like myself, and I'd never suggest you would deserve such a thing. It's not my job to judge.

Oh brother Guri, forget the 70’s and 80’s. Back in the day me and the fab twelve would go on road trips that would blow your mind. No planning whatsoever, just lace up our sandals, throw on a robe and rock out to the nearest town.

People would feed us, give us places to crash out and there’d be screaming mobs of chicks…. Man I tell ya, we were bigger than the Beatles back then. Very good my friend, thank you. Photobucket has unfortunately hosed us all. I post pictures now with Tapatalk as I'm sure a lot of others do as well. It's unfortunate what has happened to so many of the informative threads all over the internet due to Photobucket, but things are alive and well here. It seems like people pop in from time to time to tell us how crappy the forum is and then leave. They've contributed nothing at all over the time they've been gone then come in and criticize the rest of us who still enjoy the forum. I like this forum and the people on it as well as the discussions we have. If someone who hasn't been on at all comes in, criticizes, then returns to obscurity, that's fine. It happens from time to time. Nobody has to be here, but everyone who is wants to be here, and nobody is searching for people who have left to come back. If you're happy here great, good to have you. If you don't enjoy your time here and you leave that's great too, we'll be fine. Nobody loses in any scenario.

Most people would very simply rather be on Facebook and other forms of social media, and that's got nothing to do with the members or the content here driving people away. I use social media from time to time and it can certainly be entertaining and useful, but overall I think it's bad news. That's just my preference. I enjoy the company on here as do others. There isn't the traffic there used to be but I feel the discussions we have here are far more in depth than anything you'll find on the Bookface. The Bookface is disposable information, same with snapchat. They're fleeting. You can post something really significant and it will be gone with the wind within days, then on to the next distraction. Everything here we're posting is archived, which as far as technical aspects go, this is far superior to the Bookface. You can pull up a fifteen year old thread in seconds and have someone else's experience right there in front of you. We've all done this over the years working on things, but we can also do that with our more "open" discussions as well down the road to see our past views and how subjects we discussed actually panned out in reality.

Either way we're glad to have you. Stay for a spell or don't. Enjoy yourself either way.
