I don’t remember it being reversed thread...I do remember I used and impact to remove it though.

Clutch nut is righty/tighty - lefty loosy (normal thread) BUT it is staked on use a small screwdriver and bend/tap it away from the threads.
Use an old copper penny in the gears and an air or elec impact driver it’ll come right off
While you have the case cover off clean the oil filter rotor (three little screws) on the end of the crank (usually a pain in the arse to get free) or don’t but you should

The crank nut in there (under that cover) is reverse thread but depending on how deep your going DONT touch it

249792 maybe this will help (maybe) hopefully your putting it all back together at this time
And dont use any RTV you’ll regret it later
The pic is clutch area and the nut is new so it wont show it dented inward in one spot, the plastic is to keep all the dam cat hair out... ha

The clutch nut i bought new from honda, i stocked up on a few parts years ago. They show up on ebay too, but sell quick.
Maybe try to reuse yours? Or buy another used one, maybe try a honda dealer you never know what they still have.

Maybe put another thin shim/ washer on so you can stake it in a different spot?
