Small scratches

Hey guys! Just been working on my 85 250R and got my cylinder honed by a buddies shop. There is still some very light scratches up and down. should I be worried?

Tough to say from just that picture but as long as it measures within spec you should be OK.

If you can feel the groves with your fingernail then it’s going to loose compression but I would run it break it in and do a compression test and make sure it’s with in specs .

I'd be more concerned about the ridge at the top.

Do those scratches line up with the ring gap ?. If so the end of the rings need to be lightly smoothed over.
