Stator removal

Whats everybody using to pull the stater? I have a YTM225dx, I bought a puller...apparently not the right one. This thing threads into the flywheel but my flywheel has no threads only a smooth taper shaft on the outside with the small bolt that goes thru the center. The manual says use a 3 way universal puller. Where do you find the right puller?
