Proper Posting Etiquette

Question:
I've started a build thread but is that the place to pose specific questions? As an example, I'm working my way through the electrical system by making sure all components "meet spec". A few items have specific ohm readings and I'm getting some mixed readings. Separate thread or in the build?

I typically post my question within my thread and if nothing comes from that I ask outside my thread. Member Ps2fixer might be able to assist you on your electrical questions.
