This past winter ,I picked up a Black and Red 86 Yamaha 225drs to fix up. Fast forward to now and a fresh top end,and numerous other new parts I have a perfect running 225 . I've been a Honda guy my whole life and follow the Honda ATC market(which has recently went nuts)251892251893251894. But I don't have that much education on what the Yamaha's are bringing on the east coast?

I have no idea on worth.

Yamaha 225s are underrated, in my opinion. Yours looks good.

Yeah the honda market has gone nuts for sure

Very nice 225dr! I love mine, they ride so smooth compared to the Big Red I find. As for value, I'd say around $1,500 for a clean good condition one with everything working. You just need to accessorize it with racks, headlight guard etc. now [emoji106]

Thank you for the responses. Would love to find one of those reproduction headlight guards the one guy was making a few years back.I heard he's not doing it any more.

I recently acquired a 1984 Yamaha ytm 225dx, and I'm really happy with it. It needed some top end work which I took care of. Now that it's running I noticed the clutch needs to be replaced. Any special tools involved in replacing it?
