I am in the process of rebuilding a 1982 atc 250r for a friend and am having trouble finding the bushing sleeves that go in the swingarm pivot. I was wondering if anybody might know of a place to get them or of another bike trike or quad that uses ones with simmaler dimensions. I know honda is good about using identical parts on newer models considering the 450r quad has identical dust caps and thrust bushings from what I have just discovered

I could be mistaken but I feel like those would come in a kit if you got one.

All I can seem to find is the needle bearings that press into the swingarm

Yup/ not a cheap sport, I just spent $50 on a oem Honda petcock!!! China one lasted less than a year.....but learned my lesson “again”.....
-but i’ll probably get another 30 out of the oem one (hopefully still riding) then

Well plan b worked perfectly. I bought a swingarm pivot bushing sleeve for a 89 trx 250r took measurements off my 82 atc bushing and cut 2 new bushings out of the 89

Good stuff--and that is how NOT to spend $86 on a bushing... :)
