Been working on my 200x motor forever trying to bring it back to life. Problem is Everytime I get the transmission back together the countershaft seems to have a hard time turning. I should be able to spin it by hand. I even bought another bottom end to take apart and verify all the thrust washers and what not were correct. Unless that motor had been tampered with also. I just can't figure this one out. Just put the case halves back together again and tightened up case bolts and checked the shaft and sure enough o ce again it's right back to square one. Anybody got any ideas?

Maybe a gear installed backwards ?
Their are differences in all three years on the tranny so possibly have something mixed up , make sure all the bearings are seated in the cases .

Bearings are definitely flush with the case. Will check gears again
