Terrible Times

I find myself waiting for someone more adept at writing than I to make these posts but sometimes I have to take the lead. This is very hard for me to comprehend, let alone communicate to others. Saturday afternoon, a group of friends and I were at a race and got the word that our friend Garry Crum's 6 year old son passed away in a drowning accident. Trevor will be laid to rest tomorrow. Please keep Garry and his family in your thoughts.

Oh no.... That's horrible. I cannot imagine losing a child, nor having your kid get kidnapped and then missing for years.

I tried twice to type some words of condolence for Gary and his family but this is just way too tragic to pretend that I can even comprehend their profound sorrow.

This past was a very tough week for those of us who knew John Swinehart and Gary & Kamela Crum. We enjoyed many gatherings at Rose City and Baldwin with both John and Gary & Kamela. The gatherings will not be the same without them. They will be missed.
