I picked up this ATC in 1992 , rode it once , been stored at my dads place since then . Got busy doing other things . Left the western desert, now live in a green foliage state . Brought the ATC eastward , went to fire it up ,no spark . New coil later and fresh gas ,started on first kick ...
I call it "Franken" , lots of parts mixed on it ....white gas tank , painted all black engine (specs of red paint showing ), aftermarket swingarm ( gold colored) , a 79 honda Street bike rear shock (showa 438-671) ,white rear plastic , blue seat cover ( with custom duct tape repair -from previous owner)
,red frt fender ,extended axles ..Pink slip matches s/n on frame and engine , checked VIN number - legit 250R
I have to replace frt tire and get brakes in working order .... hoping for some trail riding / snow fun here ..

Yes they can. I've ridden one when stock and then after a rebuild, porting, and a DG exhaust (maybe a couple of other things that I can't remember too). Personally, for the typee of riding that I usually do these days, I would have preferred it stock. I though it ran great either way.

Welcome to the forum. Nice, I had an ATC110 mounted on my CT90 for awhile. Currently working on a YTM225.
