View Full Version : Dr. Ford and Brett Kavanaugh

This hearing for SCOTUS is really crazy to witness. Why didn't Di Fi spill the beans back when she was made aware of the allegations of sexual assault? How come there wasn't an investigation held over the summer instead of just 40 days before the mid terms. Dr. Ford could have stayed anonymous and the allegations could have been vetted without the BS we are now witnessing.

Most importantly when did American lawmakers decide you are guilty until proven innocent? Condemning a person based on allegations only is a very dangerous situation that will shape the future of our nation.

Reminds me of the Clarence Thomas affair.

Once upon a time, America decided that it needed Statute of Limitation laws in this country. I've been pondering why that is and I'm pretty sure it had something to do with cases like this.

They should absolutely call Di Fi to answer for that in front of Congress. It's time she gets called out for shenanigans

I agree 100% with you sledcrazy...And guess who pays for this trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro? The American Taxpayer. Whether he is innocent, guilty, cleared or condemned, the American taxpayer is the one losing. I think he is innocent and the allegations against him are outrageous and i feel like he has been as honest as anyone could be when they talk about 35 years ago(which doesn't really mean a blue f ing thing, and is nothing more than kangaroo court social justice)

Really it's just a dog and pony show that we were all forced to buy tickets to.

How did you like the crying women who crashed Sen Flake's elevator to tell him if he votes yes, then he's telling all women everywhere that they don't matter... Blah, blah?

So then he comes back acting like someone stomped his puppy and he throws conditions on his vote pending FBI investigation (which is conveniently moot thanks to statue of limitation laws that everyone conveniently forgot exist). All part of the script too, I'm sure. It's never been so completely clear exactly who's side the establishment Republicans are on and it ain't the Republican voters' side.

I’ve been watching this nonstop. I’ve got a $20 bet with my wife, she says that he won’t get the nomination and I said that he will.

That somebody can come back 35 years after the fact with such limited information and destroy your ambitions is terrifying. I told my wife that if I was in my 30’s and was back banging strange fuzz again, I would also be carrying around a consent form along with an area for a witness to sign that my future “victim” was of sound mind and body at the time of the signing.

This is getting absolutely crazy in that any sort of attention that a male shows towards a woman can now be construed as sexual assault if she decides that that’s how it makes her feel.

As far as that old Democrat hag who’s name escapes me, the one that hung on to Ford’s material to the last minute. That was a well played political chess move. That said, I think that Flake’s proposal for a one-week FBI investigation was also brilliant. You could hear the old bag yelling “what just happened?” or something like that as they dropped the gavel. I’m pretty sure she was hoping to get a 2 year Mueller style investigation going to get past the midterms, but a week will still let them get him voted in.

As always, the American political system leaves me in awe.

If I’m not mistaken, one of the commentators on Fox yesterday pointed out that in the State this allegedly took place in there is no statute of limitations on rape. However, by the alleged victims own account there was no rape, so I’m not sure what that comment was referring to. I don’t even know if her story would constitute attempted rape. Maybe forceful confinement at best.

"HEROES"?!?!?!

OMFG.... Everyone is a got damn hero on the Left......running your mouth is considered 'brave' as is changing your sex. Just BEING gay is some sort of selfless act of heroism too. This is pathetic. They've taken the "trophies for everyone" mantra and extended that courtesy to anyone in the Left who simply gets out of bed in the morning.

I have yet to hear exactly what it is that he supposedly did to her. Apparently him being a high ranking political appointment before now never even ruffled this woman's feathers or even showed up on her radar but as soon as Trump wanted something, she magically appears with vague tales of debauchery and claims of mental distress (though she still managed to get a doctorate despite being devastated and damaged goods, a huge feat for someone who isn't broken mentally and a monumental task for someone with PTSD and debilitating anxiety as she claims

In her highschool yearbook, she bragged about all the parties, the sex, and the passing out drunk. Funny how that's been ignored as well. For someone who was victimized in highschool, she sure didn't have anything but praise for all these parties and events in the yearbook.

Those protest women aren't heroes or strong in any way. They are emotional Leftist wrecks that think that governance is all about taking their feelings into consideration first because they think of themselves as special and deserving of special priveledges, powers, and considerations.

American Self-Importance is at an all-time high and a very large portion of our population has been media conditioned to honestly believe that they are morally superior to the majority of the country, who ruthlessly oppresses them for no good reason. Coincidentally, they are being used to push thru dubious things that make thinking people cringe. They don't want thinking people making well thought decisions so they cultivated an entire population that makes snap decisions based on the reactionary emotions of the unstable people who feel them.

It's sickening how much the media are propping up emotionally disturbed people and trying to teach them that they deserve to have all their irrationality validated and coddled to. When a group gets too much exhaltation and social elevation, they typically grow narcissistic and emboldened and when someone finally denies them the cookie, they explode in a spectacular and despotic way making them infinitely more irrational and dangerous to civilization than anyone else.

You wanna know the real irony? I don't like Trump. Don't trust him. Never have. I don't like Kavanaugh. He was a Yes Man for any party that hired him thru three president's I believe. He's establishment and the Democrat Posse is making a fake issue out of it when everyone knows, he would have been their pick too.

I'm especially upset to have to take the sides of people I don't like because their opponents have lost their minds and are dangerously corrupt and unstable.

"Lesser of two Evils" yet again

However, by the alleged victims own account there was no rape, so I’m not sure what that comment was referring to. I don’t even know if her story would constitute attempted rape. Well then isn't that convenient?

Most states do have these laws in place. It's how these actors keep getting away with rape and pedophilia in California

And the place she chose to reveal her assault to was Diane Feinstein? Not the police station, which apparently in that state has no statute of limitations on sex assault? So "justice" was not her goal at all, but political f*ckery was. She doesn't want him to spend time for the crime. She just doesn't want him in control of her abortion rights?

I'm glad you pointed this out. In my opinion, it makes her claims look even more dubious than ever before.

Of course, it's all wrapped up neatly in a bow because they've shamed anyone and everyone who would rightfully question the authenticity of ANY account from ANY human because humans tend to lie more than they tend to speak truth. One mention of "victim shaming" and everyone stops asking questions magically and ignores the blatant inconsistencies. It's sad that now a woman, gays, color minorities, and any religion not Christian can claim whatever they want and their word is automatically considered unquestionable truth.

The saddest part is that there are thousands upon thousands of men and women who have been assaulted and suffered far greater than the apparent microaggression Kavanaugh supposedly committed but this woman is obviously grandstanding as her experience was NOT the same level of awful that other women have experienced.

Is #metoo just a social club now? If you felt uncomfortable in the presence of a man in the past, then you are automatically a victim of sexual assault now? So she's telling women everywhere that feeling creeped out by an admirer or a horny classmate is somehow the same as forcible violent rape? Some women have already been heard saying that being a woman is just like be being black.... Seriously? How much more delusional and self-important can you be?

We're creating an entire social class of narcissists and we're unapologetic too

And no, this isn't paranoia. My country has a long and recent history of social justice hoaxes perpetuated by immature adults seeking media attention.

Nearly every claim of racist vandalism and of refusing tips to black or gay servers at restaurants in recent years here in the US were all proven to be hoaxes and yet the media conveniently forgets to put up a retraction when this happens and the liars are not held criminally accountable or in libel for slandering people with lies. It seems that a certain voting segment of the population here is frequently driven to commit hoaxed hate crimes in order to get GoFundMe account from strangers and a spot on Good Morning America so they can push a political and social agenda. It's actually a HUGE problem here and seems to be way more prevalent in one particular demographic. Victimhood is rewarded in America and allot of people here are competing in the Victimhood Olympics hoping to get special rights and public adoration and pity ("You're so brave. I feel sorry that you are so persecuted. I hope my twenty bucks makes you feel better")

We have every right to question every claim of this nature considering the status quo here

The third accuser, represented by Stormy Daniels lawyer, claims Brett and his crew would get girls drunk to gang rape them. The third accuser also claims she went to ten of those gang rape parties and was a victim at one of the parties though Kavanaugh and his buddy Mark Judge didn’t do her.

So the mention of no statute of limitations for rape in Maryland is the accuser claims being witness to ten different times of Kavanaugh and friends drugging and gang raping minors needs to be filed immediately.
Only problem is the third accuser is 4 years older then Kavanaugh, making her an adult accomplice if in fact she partied with the minors and actually witnessed underage girls drinking and being train raped not once but 10 times......

At this point, does anyone believe that Stormy Daniels' lawyer is NOT on the DNC payroll?

How convenient.

Where were these two "heros" to challenge Mrs Clinton for supporting her husband after he was accused of several different rapes and assaults against women? Were these two ladies casting their votes for Mrs. Clinton as if one thing had nothing to do with the other? When Mrs Clinton refuses to acknowledge the rape accusations against her husband, why is SHE not "sending a message to all women and victims that they don't matter"? Those two had better have been voting for Bernie or they are both frauds

I'm way past sick of the double standards. I'm also tired of this notion that percieved Victimhood makes you infallible as if violence or oppression magically made honest people out of them.

I feel like I'm watching a scripted soap opera anyway with totally predictable plots and a pointless premise.

I'm not even complaining about politicians anymore because they are all on the payroll and they are all in cahoots behind closed doors for the most part. My greatest disappointment comes from my feelings toward the human element and particularly the voting public. It's sad to see such a massive and ill-informed and sometimes pridefully and purposefully ignorant group of voters. By keeping people dumb, reactionary, tribalistic, and emotionally charged, they don't have to stuff the ballot boxes to win. We don't have democracy, we have mob rule with corporate veto power. Lincoln destroyed the Constitutional Republic idea once and for all in 1865 cementing massive and concentrated Federal power.... "But racism justified such a jackboot move" .... Yeah right.

You just have to stear the mob in the direction you want to go and if that doesn't work, our Corporate Congressional Representatives will veto anything that goes off course and set out to eliminate the threat to one world imperialism.

American democracy is now Mob Rule

Payroll? The guy has Presidential hopes for 2020, he wants to be the one with the checkbook! Of course that would take getting past Cory Booker who I can only describe as having a very bad case of angry ****** syndrome and Ms. Corez with all her profound worldly views on "stuff".

The Dems have gone so far left that the short bus went off a cliff. It's like; shame on all you middle aged straight white men for working, paying taxes and sticking around to raise your kids! You've ruined the world. Time to tear down your great grand parents statues, burn their flags, kneel for their anthem, pay more taxes, stop looking at our bodies which we chose to cover with dental floss because we don't like the attention (please checkout my Instagram page at www.sluttywhoreneedscash,com) and for God sakes, STFU, your opinions mean nothing!!! Oh, and do you mind opening the door for me?.... YOU PIG!!!

That was my point in saying that the whole thing is an orchestrated false flag.

Kavanaugh is a company man. He's been loyal to every administration that hired him whether Left or Right so that's how I know that they aren't really that upset over these accusations and he would have been floated for SCOTUS or yet another high clearance job within the Federal government even if Trump had never won.

I don't like his record as an administration shill either and I'm not supportive of his appointment at all but it's definitely not based on vague and questionable accusations about events that occurred in the 1970s from some woman who suddenly has an issue with him.

36 years ago and they were kids. It's he says she says and no real proof of allegations. I'm pretty much sick to death of hearing about it. I'd like to think that any person regardless of his or her mistakes can become a different person after nearly 40 years. God knows that none of us would be casting the first stone because we're all guilty of something. Most of us have just been lucky enough to not get caught.
How many guys here turned 18 while dating your younger girlfriend? Were you having sex? You could be a sex offender by law in the state of Va. How do I know? Because a great guy that I'm friends with got convicted after a break up with his girl and her parents pressed charges on him. Game over for him, he's a registered offender the rest of his life.
Moving on... There's too much nonsense these days.

It's like half of America decided it too. I'm disgusted as well but a large group of American Nobodys (a.k.a....mere citizens) seem to be perfectly fine with a witch hunt as long as it benefits them. This is deeply troubling, indeed

And you're right on about the danger. The part that concerns me is that we're awfully close to a tipping point and there are people actively trying to shove it over the proverbial cliff

I used to wonder how a country could get so divided that people declared war on each other within their own borders and then would set out to genocide one side or the other. Looking broadly at the state of anger and purposeful agitation going on here, and I could absolutely see an attempted armed uprising in the next 3-5 yrs in America. This whole country is seething with hate for one another and it's coming from ALL sides.

I used to think that the Right wing extremists would be the catalyst but I'm starting to see that it will most certainly be Left wing extremists who will try to set it off as in so many other countries before in just the last 150 yrs. I believe that in the 80s and 90s, "they" tried to set off the militia crowd and the neonazis and when that didn't succeed, they found ANTIFA and others and have been concentrating their agitation efforts on Far Leftists which have proved far more effectively manipulated. You can't declare martial law and suspend the Constitution as is set forth in numerous laws, without first finding an excuse to do so. In America, even when the ridiculous narrative can't stand up to scrutiny on its own merit, just HAVING an excuse at all seems to be an acceptable alternative to alot of Americans and literally all they need to hear to help them decide to not give a f*ck. It's become that pathetic.

Bill Maher in particular. He’d always been the guy that made me smirk a little even though I didn’t agree with his views, but when he called all Sarah Palin’s constituents meth-heads I decided he was an asshole unworthy of my smirks. If what I read he said last night is true, he’s sunk to a new low.

One thing I have been studying on my own and find fascinating ever since I had a conflict resolution class in graduate school is body language. Every time there is a big event like this there are “experts” that weigh in on body language. I recommend you watch the ones for Jonbenet Ramsey and The ones on Bill Clinton. I found the following one on the subject in this forum.

Edit - to be fair the more videos I watch of this body language “expert” she appears to definitely support the Republican Party. That is just something to keep in mind while watching them.

That’s a fascinating topic. As someone who plays Texas Holdem whenever I can I like looking for signs of BS, but to date I suck at it.

I have believe that politicians study on how NOT to show classic signs of lying. Think of it as tools of the trade for them. Hillary Clinton is one of the best I’ve noticed. She works a room with her eyes like few others can as she spews her sewage.

I didn’t see Ford do anything weird other than appear extraordinary well rehearsed for some of her answers. I suspect that part of the delay tactics she used in order to bump the date from Monday to Thursday for her appearance was so that she could be coached.

Yes people can be trained on how to use body language. Dr. Ford most likely is well trained. However , everyone puts off things called micro expressions. These are harder to fake and train for. If you ever watched the show lie to me, there is some truth too it.

I think the trick to being a good liar is to convince ones self that the lie is truth. If you can convince yourself it becomes easier to convince others, at least until you get caught in the lie as is usually what happens. That’s when diversion is needed, another tool of a good career politician. Kellyanne Conway is a master of that art.

I think Brett gets a little defensive over his beer drinking. Gotta say when he was asked about the possibility of ever blacking out he wasn't able to convince me it never happened......wish he was sharp enough to deflect and say why ask me if I black out, like I would even remember if I do?

One thing during his questioning was the definition of sexual behavior.
Why didn't Dr. Ford have the same set of questions asked of her?

The first ten minutes of his questioning before he tagged out and got his mind back on track surprised me. This GOP prosecutor used by the Senators really got him off balance from the onset with a few of her questions and the Dems knew exactly where to keep on goading him throughout the rest of the hearing.

That SNL skit by Matt Damon really highlighted his lowest moments of the 'job interview'
BTW Matt Damon is a total hypocrite making fun of Kavanaugh's reaction to false accusations, Damon was interviewed last year saying he would take on any #metoo claim full bore and bankrupt his accuser in court. His reasoning during the interview made me tend to think he would go scorched earth on a true victim just to protect his $$$ and fame

Liberal media love to portray them both as victims and heroic for standing up for assault victims.....more like paid activists to disrupt the Senate hearings and prevent Kavanaugh from being a justice on SCOTUS.

These women are part of a political organization....one is executive director of Center for popular Democracy

Archila is an executive director of the Center for Popular Democracy; she had spent the previous week in Washington engaged in protests against Kavanaugh.

Gallagher is a 23-year-old activist with the group. The center is a left-wing group heavily funded by George Soros’ Open Society Foundations. Indeed, as of 2014, Open Society was one of the three largest donors to the group.

Ford’s relevance seems to be fading now that the FBI are rumored to be done looking into the Judge.

Now the focus of the Democrats seems to be the demeanor of the response that Kavanaugh gave during his testimony. The Dems are losing at every turn and they don’t like it. The polling coming out today shows them having lost the momentum they had moving towards the midterms. I hate to say it, but it looks like Trump is going to “win” again.

Well that didn't take long.

So much for all that celebrating those two "brave" women did so quickly.

I'm going to go ahead and say that when he gets confirmed, the news/social media will be slammed with calls for a violent revolution to stop the "fascist Nazis". Maxine will probably openly call for the Bloods to attempt to kill Trump. Hollywood will go into convulsions and invent a whole new acting award show specifically designed to give another two and a half hour platform to Progressive Hive Mind sociopolitical commentary on national TV... disguised as an award show [emoji23]

Not so fast. Our country is fully capable and totally not above cheating on its own elections and vote counts as much as your home turf is down there.

It's doesn't get addressed because the cognitive dissonance of this population is profound. There are literally dozens of undercover videos on YouTube with people admitting to stuffing ballot boxes and driving ppl in from out of state to vote, dead people voting, rigged machines, etc. No matter what kind of evidence you put out there, most ppl just keep watching football, paying taxes, and showing up to work. American Priveledge had made us weak and passive and that's exactly what happens right before an empire crumbles

I doubt he will be nominated but I could be wrong.

Apparently he had one too many brewskis in college and boofing actually means anal sex rape trains of which he was the conductor of. Also he showed his pee pee to a half Hispanic female which makes him a racist klansman....or is it now klansperson?...because remember his Jewish/Hispanic female aid throwin up white power kkk gang signs at the confirmation hearing? Wait a minute...Kavanaugh? Klansman? They both start with a K. Yep.... that coincidence alone warrants the death penalty

It's a weird world we reside in.

Stop right there. As I was reading your post and saw "two and a half" after "Hollywood" and invent" I thought the next thing you were going to say was "invent a whole new "modern" series called Two and a Half Women about a wealthy, good looking man hating woman and her divorced free loading nymphomaniac sister with an intelligent daughter that live with her in Malibu. The entire series would be built around the undersexed woman suing every guy that ever looked at her for a fortune and her slut sister awkwardly banging all of them at the house after the lawsuits are settled.

Sounds like more of a Seinfeld thing.... Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

And they could get Molly Ringwald to play the nymphomaniac freeloading sister since they like casting from that movie anyway

Wow! I was going to post "starring Molly Ringwald and Denise Richards."

It's not good enough just to be witty around here. Apparently one needs to be acerbic and quick. Now I see I am four full days behind on this one.
