I took the recoil starter off to find that the friction spring was missing so the automatic decompression release doesn't work when pulling the rope. The trike does not run at the moment and I am in the process of possibly rebuilding the top end. Do I need this $80 part off ebay to crank this thing? I can manually push it back by hand but it seems to hang up a bit.
