Atc300r thank for the help hey I want to build a 2 gen 300r I found a cylinder that has a small crack At the bottom of the sleeve the machinist said we can fix it haven’t been able to find a person yet .. Back in the day or did they just change the cylinder and piston or did they sell you a better carburetor .. I haven’t found much on the 300r allso can the Reads out of an 85 and six work in the aircooleds

Is that silencer also A Bassani ? I have a Second 1984 250r with a Aluminum silencer up some type what’s the stock.

No, the reeds are not interchangeable betwee 2nd and 3rd gen. If there is a crack at the bottom of the sleeve, I would just get it resleeved. You will need to find the piston you want to run and then send that piston and cylinder to LA sleeve and they will put a new sleeve in.

Yes.Silencer is also Bassani.Yes The reeds will fit the aircooled.81-85 250r has the same reeds and block.

Yeah I x 2 with Yaegerb on La Sleeve, I drop off my 300r motor to them and they re-sleeved it for me. I had a new piston all ready to provide to them. They do offer a a replacement kit as a CRF piston kit with a re-sleeve.
