1986 ATC 125M...shift pattern help?

Recently rescued a titled, running 1986 125M (has the wrong tank grrr) and I got it running and moving, I can get it up from neutral thru 1-2-3-4, and back down to neutral, but I cant get it into reverse and I'm not sure how. I dont see a lever or interlock anywhere, is there a special procedure? I haven't been able to even find a 1986 125M owners manual to read.

Hi, I own a 1986 Honda 125m and I'm looking for rear fenders.

Push red button on left handle bar down and pull handle as in applying brakes, then push down on shifter for reverse.

I have a fair collection of service manuals and owners manuals. Sadly no owners manuals for 86-87 ATC125M though, I suspect the 85 one wouldn't be much use to you since the engine was redesigned and such.

If you need any specs from the service manual, I can upload screen shots of the data.
