Got out this weekend with my son (Samjp22) to do a little whitetail hunting. We had nice conditions, 6-8" of powder snow with temps around 10 F and steady winds. I wasn't being picky and shot the first one I seen at less than 50' after settling down for an evening hunt. Thankfully it's on the smaller side as we had a 3/4 mile drag back to the truck; I'm sure glad Sam was there to help out! Hopefully he gets a chance to connect on a good one as we seen a bruiser on Saturday but was out at 450yds offering no shot.

Nice harvest Pete! I'm sure the tri-x-side would have been very useful that day!
