GE left Connecticut for Boston after we continually dropped our shorts.....800 million and 10 or 12 years off the tax rolls wasn't good enough to keep em in CT....Their answer was Boston offered more to the workers social life and Logan airport was conveniently located to fly the world over.

Amazon is huge business and amazed Long Island let them walk away after beating out 200 other cities for the new headquarters. AOC is really making friends locally considering many store owners assumed Amazon moving in was a done deal. Restaurant owners pouring all their savings into updating and expanding their businesses. Local citizens were expecting some new subways, better roads and bridges, so on.....AOC wants to guarantee jobs for all that want them then helps chase away probably the best local opportunity in the past 75 years...

It's ok though because you can get your packages any day of the week thanks to the incredibly questionable deal that was struck between the United States Post Office and a single corporation, prompting Sunday delivery in USPS vehicles, for Amazon prime packages only, for the first and only time in US history.

Also Bernie made them pay all their employees$15/hr so Jeff Bozos figures that the increased tax revenue from the massive raises of his exploited employees will offset his failure to pay a red cent.

And all the progressives love him, no matter that he's the newest incarnation of the Walmart Monopoly of the internet.
