Just picked up some “brand new” (few small scratches from storage) 250sx fiberglass fenders for $100. Was curious if anyone else was running or has ran fiberglass and what you thought of them. I grabbed them because they didn’t seem too pricey and are replacing some very beat up and zip-tied fenders. Don’t know what they go for and haven’t seen any bikes with glass so wondering if I got a deal on em?

I seen some on ebay for my 200x that was $150, I personally didn't buy them because of the weight difference compared to plastic fenders

well I don't know my 200m fiberglass fenders weighed about the same as the original and I really like the fenders. yea I think you did fine on them especially considering that Meier fenders cost about triple that new.

Yeah not to mention they can be repaired to look new again if they crack. Fiberglass is pretty easy to work on. Good buy

They really look good. Do they have provisions for the trunk?

No trunk which is a downside but not doing a full restore so doesn’t really bother me. The plastics I’m replacing didn’t have a trunk either
