That's some serious coin for what it'll cost to put that thing together, forget about what a restoration like Roberts or Xriders would add to that number, yikes!!! Still, I'd take a Cagiva or Tiger over a TPC or any other new conversion given the choice.

I would be pleasantly surprised if this item is not relisted due to a "non paying bidder", given the amount of schill bidding that occurs on ebay.

On Ebay if you have an auction and someone doesn't pay, you have to opportunity to offer it to the next highest bidder. Schill bidding would let him run the price up but at the amount its at now he would be crazy not to sell. I know its stupid rare and will increase in value with age but there only so many dudes willing to step up to the plate with big money. If he tried to relist he might not get it bidded up as high.

Schill bidding means that the seller or associates of the seller are bidding to inflate the price of the item with no intention of buying the item. Kind of hard to sell something if the bids are not legitimate. I'll have popcorn at the ready.

And eBay does nothing about it if you report it, other than send you an email that says “Following our investigation we have concluded that there was no shill bidding detected, love eBay”
