So I've found a spot that has factory sealed OEM shrouds for a killer price. There are 2 different part numbers for each side. I'm just curious what the differences are between the two. Same price for each.

Here are the numbers...
19030-HA2-000ZA vs. 19030-HA2-670ZA
And
19035-HA2-000ZA vs. 19035-HA2-670ZA

Any light shed on the subject would be appreciated. Thank you all in advance!

Also, I'm going to ramping up on my ATC500R conversion before too long. That thread will get updated whenever that begins.

In this particular case, the last numbers of 000za are the number they originally used in 1985. The 670za number means they made some type of change to the part but it is designed to replace the original part. The 000za part has been discontinued so it is no longer available from honda, however, the 670za part is still available at $61.75 retail from any honda dealer or as low as $44.15 from some dealers if you have a dealer account like I do.

No differences between the years, that I've ever seen. Only reason I can think of for 2 different part #'s would be for the standard shrouds, and the short course tank shrouds.

In any event they are the most bitchenest shrouds in the world !..........whats the bitchenest price out there ? .........$44.15 sounds good barns..........did you bring enough for the whole class ?

They are only $47.00 thru partzilla. Most of their prices are really low. If I didn't have a dealer account at the local dealer, I would get my stuff from partzilla.

Partzilla.com is where I'm currently looking. They have a few in stock of each part number, so I was just curious if there was any advantage to one or the other. I'll just go with the later model for no reason whatsoever. Haha These are going on the 500 later. Thanks for the input everyone!

Man, I just keep buying a set of these 250R shrouds with every Honda order I make. As well as 250R and 350X forkboots, I keep adding to my stash.

I cannot find ANY INSIDERS to tell me if American Honda has 300 sets left or 3000!!

It seems IMPOSSIBLE to get that statistic. A couple years ago the 350X shrouds went away, no one knew ahead of time (to my knowledge). So, they went from 50$ to about 220$ a side which is the going rate now. Why couldn't anyone warn us ahead of time?? I would have bought 10K worth of 350X shrouds if I knew they were going by by....

There MUST be a way to get that inventory...

That's an easily answered question....

Just walk into your local Honda dealer and tell him you want to place an order for 1,000,000 sets for ATC 250R shrouds. When he says "Sorry sir, there are only XXXX available" you'll have your answer.

In the event that he says, "Ok sir, your 1,000,000 sets of shrouds will be here in 6 to 8 business days, will that be cash, or credit?" you'll know you shouldn't have bothered hoarding them all these years ;)

They a e the same order with hre foe new frames and everything else that gets wadded up. Manufactures know what's still hot, there is a reason we can still buy parts cuz parts have a 40-60% markup ware the whole machine does not. Buy the parts but don't blow all your money hoping in 5 years to make it back. Ebay helps if your not smart ebought to find the part numbers. Cool thing now is partzilla puts the part next to a ruler, this saved me $26 today in bolts for a ytm. I just cut a ton of stainless ones I had down to the lengths online...
