85 250r was running little rich cutting out little bit on low end .once got to wot.it hauled ass .ran best with idle screw almost all way out and air screw 3/4 out ..repacked stock silencer and now it bogs .stock silencer had no packing in it .carb is stock 34 mm klien main 142 and pilot at 52 .stock cylinder bored .35 over factory exhaust. Any help would b appreciated?

Now that I re-read your comments you say it’s a stock cylinder bored. Is it stock or big bore?

exactly what do you mean by "cutting out"?

exactly what do you mean by "ran best"

The idle speed screw only sets the idle speed, it has absolutely zero to do with how a bike runs when the throttle is being opened.

is this where it had the highest idle speed?

exactly what do you mean by "bogs"?



bored .35 over

exactly how did you determine this. i have never seen a .35 over piston for anything unless it was custom made.

I`m a pro porter .35 ....38 whatever it takes........my piston is clean no smeggma on it "like" yours ......Barns........Barns ........BARNS ........shut up !
