Hey everyone, I just bought off eBay a +2 extended swingarm for my 82 250r. I am unable to find any info online confirming that Dura Blue made a swingarm for my year/model, but it doesn’t appear to be homemade. I’m hoping someone on here can give additional information about the rarity or history. Thanks

I don't know if they were actually made by durablue, but they were sold through durablue as their own swingarms. It's legit and a cool piece.

Kinda like White Brothers aluminum swingarms were made by Calfab with a White Brothers decal.

Thanks for your replay. I ended up contacting DuraBlue and explained what I had and with pictures. The person I talked to confirmed that he did indeed build a couple himself in the early 80’s on a as needed bases and said he recognized his work.

A lot of times with these old trike parts made 40 years ago by companies that are still around, it's hard to find an employee there that remembers making this stuff.

Yeah it definitely adds to the nostalgic feelings. I just sand blasted it this afternoon and ordered a couple Dura Blue sticks. I’ll post some pics when I’m done painting it. It’s gonna look great!

The swingarm is all done and I think turned out pretty nice.
