1981 Tri-Moto 125 engine upgrade???

Alright, I know that Pre-82 tri motos aren't very upgradeable but are there ANY engine upgrades for my 1981? This is my first restoration and I would like to do something in the performance department.



I'm kinda new to this whole forum thing so let me know if I made any mistakes :)

Don't really know the Yamaha engines too well for engine swaps, but if nothing comes along, you could up the compression and do some performance mods to the engine. Isn't the 125 a 2 stroke? A good pipe, compression, and some port work can really change the nature of the engine and the kind of performance it has.
