250 big red help needed

Recently took crank case off big red to replay one way bearing which is all fine and good. I am having problem putting the crank case back on due to the spring attached to the reverse lever I have no idea how to get that back in any suggestions?

I can't recall that spot too clearly, isn't the lever on an arm and the bolt goes though the spring? Should be able to put the spring at the stopper and hook it on the arm and press it up to get the calble in. Maybe I'm thinking of another spot though, if you can post a photo it would jog my memory better.
