ATC110 won’t start after power washing

My ATC 110 ran great until powerwashed. I blew out electric connections with air hose but still nothing. What do I need to do next?

What year is it? Is it a points engine or capacitor discharge ignition?

If it's a points engine...points get really grumpy when wet.

1980, has points. I pulled the cover off, no moisture inside but blew out with air anyway.

It ran after power wash but now sat for a week and will not start.

Hmm. Maybe a spot of rust formed on the points?

Is it firing? Maybe it ain't an ignition at all. Water in the carb? cut the gas off at the tank and drain the carb bowl. Then let it refill. Shooting in the dark here.

Got it running! Pulled apart all connections, cleaned and it runs. My daughter LOVES HER ATC 110!

Those 110's are tough. I beat the living shet out of mine as a kid and it just kept running.
