Hi i have a 84 Kawasaki tecate 3 and i was wondering if anyone knew if the adjustable linkage rod fron a 86/87 will fit on the 84 suspension????

people have done it. Not sure they are the same eye width but it can be done. You might find more info in here:

Yes.
I had to buy a few big washers to make up the width difference.
This is my 85 T3 sand beater.
This link is for a KX250 I think - but the later T3s and KXs used the same parts.

I changed the link to raise the rear because I was tearing up the Maier low-pro fenders (which I hate but there beggars can't be choosers).

If you zoom into the first pic, you can see the washers.

Important to see in the pics - the 84 dogbone is short compared to the 85 and the adjustable T3B/KX link.

If you're trying to lower yours, it won't work.

Maybe you can shorten the knuckles?

man awesome thanks im trying to raise the rear for the same reason you mentioned
