As you may have read from my other thread on my divorce things went well and was happy with the outcome of it...

I have had this ear ache for some time now and it got worse over the last 2 months. Started back in Jan of this year. I have seen doctors and got everything from mid ear infection to a blocked saliva duct. Only on my right side. Tons of meds. 2 rounds of blood work and everything was spot on. Was told to see a Oral Surgen. Maybe a impacted tooth? Root Canal?

Pain got worse over the last 3 weeks. I had a appointment with the Oral surgen last Tuesday and a appointment with the ENT specialist on Wednesday.

*grab a beer guys*

I have the "C" word. Oral cancer. I left my work last Thursday on illness leave. Been with the company for 27 years. I am 48 years young and will beat it!!!!

Next step is a bit of surgery and a CT scan to start a baseline. After that. Radiation and most likely Chemo. I have a bit of a bumpy road ahead of me. As far as $$$. Well we will see. I have good coverage and sickness insurance on my house.

I am 110% positive about this whole thing and in good spirits. Things are going to happen fast. Just waiting for the calls to come in for surgery and CT scan. Within a week. I have a great family and friends to rely on. My girlfriend of 4 1/2 years is the BEST!!! Honestly I am very greatful. I am taking this to seriously but I will crack some jokes. Being positive is the best medicine.

My brother said lets go to the cottage for the weekend. Bro time. Loaded up the XL250R (which is going to stay at the cottage) and relaxed for the weekend. Left my XR400R at home.

259909

Good to run up the XL this past weekend on the back roads. Thing runs like new.
Thanks for taking the time to read.

Please don't say sorry to hear. This was not my intent at all. Positive thread only here guys. FU Cancer!!!!

Pre OP was done on Friday. Took off to the cottage again and took my XR400 up with me. My brother and me had a great time riding. I had to do a bunch of paperwork and prepare for the worse. Geeze I am worth more dead than alive. Joking but true. I called it "Plan Z"... Not that I hope to be down that road but prepared. I had the talk with my family and we are all on the same page.

Still going with "Plan A". Kick it's ass and heal up and get back to a normal life and live it!!!!

Surgery is tomorrow. After that see what the doctors say. Baby steps.

Hey. Things are going ok. Some small setbacks but to be expected.

I have lost weight and was trying to keep it up but it is hard to maintain it. Back in for surgery tomorrow for a feeding tube into my stomach. I will be able to inject food and I will also have a pole that I can hang a bag of liquid food and let it drip in the feeding tube if I am just laying around.

Friday is my CT Scan and next week talk to the doctors again. I will need a mask made up for the radiation. "Hannibal Lecter" anyone. LOL

My dentist wants 2 wisdom teeth pulled but I have to talk to the doctors about that as it may set back everything.

Resting up and doing OK at this point.

Glad you checked in bud, screw the teeth for now.

I thought my divorce would be the worst thing I'd ever go thru, and it definitely screwed me up; But being healthy is definitely tantamount.

Keep us in the mix and don't be shy to set up a Go Fund me page, I throw away 20$ 15X a day...

This stuff is always a surprise, and not usually a good one. I hope you do awesome and walk away from this fine. Having a health issue pop up is never fun, but many times it can be dealt with.

2019 was not my best year. Put my dog down. Divorce. Cancer...

I am living on a budget. Divorce is payed for.

I have good benifits from work. Basically Empolyment insurance is my short term disability for 4 months then my long term kicks in. Short term is not much. I have no idea what other countries get???. Short term will not cover everything per month. Cost me about $2500.00 to run my Igloo and that is with no food. Mortgage/insurance/heat/water... I have disability insurance on my mortgage (not sure if i said that) It kicks in after 2 months and will go for 24 months. Pricipal/interest and land taxes. (About $1400.00 per month)

As far as health care most of the stuff is paid for. Nurses. Hospitals. Meds. My son is helping me out as he works part time and lives with me. He just got his licence and I put him on my van for insurance.

Feeding tube was painfull and I am just starting to move around OK. CT scan was fine to do. I had to rely on my family to help me out for the last 4 days.

Thanks for the heads up on a "Go Fund Me". I don't think I would ever ask as I am in good shape. We all work hard for our $$$.

Thanks for the kind words and lifting spirits!!!! See what the doctors say in the next couple of days.

OH. Got a new roof going on my Igloo in a couple weeks. $6,000.00. I saved up half of it in cash. I will finance the other part of it and have it payed ASAP.

Me again. DEADPOOL.

Things are going well. I did my first round of chemo and have had a couple rounds of radiation. My weight is staying the same and overall I feel good. I have hydration IV for 7 days which takes 4 hours to run it course. I am on my 3rd day now. Back to radiation on Monday for 5 days.

I have been keeping busy with all the appointments ETC. My roof is all done now. Still going back and forth with my mortage insurance people.

Had some minor side effects which is normal. Everything tastes the same!!! LOL

Be good.

This may sound INSANE, but if I get diagnosed with cancer tomorrow, it's my plan.

I read a ton of stuff on odd message boards.

On one post about cancer 2 things were mentioned.

1) Don't ingest anymore sugar, it feeds cancer.

2) Find apricot seeds and eat them. They contain vitamin B17 and supposedly it kills cancer.

Do not search with Google, they want us dead just like the rest of them. Use duckduckgo as a search engine, I also recommend using the brave browser.

Supposedly apricot seeds are a game changer... The big pharma companies like to TREAT things rather than cure them, they don't make money curing people.

Steve there's a documentary called "The Beautiful Truth" which is a bit corny the way it's produced, but it's about what you're talking about. I haven't seen it in years, but I remember it seeming pretty amazing when I watched it.

What would happen if the public found a cure to be so simple??

Can you imagine the uprising if the general public learned that the big pharma companies have been hiding the cures from us for all these years?? Or even worse, that they have created many of the diseases themselves??!!

These mother faulkers keep us alive just to take what little wealth we have left.

In the past few years I finally figured out what some truths were, and it was very disturbing. They want us to die quietly and silently.

Well, if people have no problem allowing 8 month old babies to die after birth, what else should we expect from them?? The things they do tell us everything...

Glad to read that you are feeling better!

I've read that the properties in cannibals can cure cancer, and that sugar feeds cancer.

I would also seek out a holistic doctor, a private one that cannot be bought! Feel better buddy...

Hello Rob Canadian,

You don't know me, nor do I know you, but I read you post and wanted to share some thoughts of encouragement.

Life is a journey, that no one is certain of when it will end, only the place we are and the places we've been.
I encourage not just you, but everyone to live your life WOT, we only get one shot at this regardless of
any diagnosis, tomorrow could be anyone's last day, love those who love you, spend your time with whom you want, leave the fret and worry
behind you. Only what lies in front of you truly matters.

In a way you have been given a gift, a laser focus of what is truly most important in life.
Family, Friends and the experiences shared with them, nothing else even comes close.

I wish you the best
Stay strong, stay focused
MrC.

Hey everyone.

OK. I had my CT scan and saw my doctor and talked to my Oncologist. CANCER FREE!!!! I guess. LOL. Doctor said ¨Ya. Everything looks fine. There is still swelling but looks ok¨

No big party or anything as we have this covid-19 trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro going on.

My weight is good. They took my stomach tube out. I drink a lot of protein shakes. My mouth is still very RAW and I can only eat soft bland foods. Mashed potatoes. soup. Anything with a spice I can not eat. Turns my mouth on FIRE. Even a plain hotdog is a bit too spicy. A hotdog...

Still healing up from the stomach tube. Starting to gain mussle back slowly. I still suffer from fatique. I cant do much. But I am getting there.

Be good.

Hey guy's.

My update: Well where my stomach tube was has not healed up. It has been 8 weeks this Friday. Also I got a lump om my right side of my throat again. Still have a fair amount of swelling in my throat...

I made the call to my doctor at the cancer center. I have a appointment on Friday. I have had a nurse coming in 2X a week for my stomach tube issue. It has been a bugger to heal up and is very tender/ discomfort.

Fingers crossed.

Here is my latest update:

I am doing OK. I did find what the issue is with my stomach tube area not healing. Last week I found a stitch coming out in the area. I have to clean it daily. WTF. Why is there a stitch?? THIS IS THE WHOLE REASON IT IS NOT HEALING!!!! My nutritionist calls me a couple days ago and asks me how I am doing. Told her about the stitch that is coming out and discomfort that I am having. I am at a "3" on discomfort level now.
She tells me that I have a support 'mesh' thing still inside me. BTW. It should have been removed or something.I am a bit TICKED. Some one messed up. I have been taking pics of my wound and the nurses document everything.

With COVID and stuff going on I am blessed that I have good coverage on being off work.

While you are reading this. I SOLD my house and moving in with my fiance. The house market is great right now. I got over my asking price with no conditions.

Latest DR. appointment is this Friday. Hope to have altrasound on my stomach. Kinda go from there. Thinking another small surgery to remove the mess thing and go from there.

Thanks for reading and your support!

DEADPOOL.

Rob, Jesus man. I've been very out of the loop for a long time now. Terrible to hear about the cancer but glad to hear that you're holding up and fighting. Never give up man. I have to say, i have a little mesh in the guts from an old injury. I hated that it was there and i could feel it for over a year. the docs said i wouldn't notice it.
Lie... After about 18 months, i either got used to it or it stopped hurting, or both. So, maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Anyway, good luck MISTER! Hang in there and keep us posted.
