Atc 185 exhaust gasket

Need to replace the exhaust gaskets on my 185atc.
I have looked everywhere for the gasket I need. When I put the make and model into the search criteria most of the sites spec. out a gasket that is 40mm OD. This is way too big.
I can’t figure out why they all spec. Out this size gasket.
My calipers show I need a 37mm OD gasket.
Am I missing something?

Check out Partzilla. Since you didn't give a year, I just looked up one for a 1982 185S (I believe that they are the same for all years). They listed one for $2.88. The shipping will probably be more than that. This will be a genuine Honda part.

The little gold ring exhaust gasket should be the same for about ANY 185/200cc Honda engine. Except the 4 valve animal, they are pretty much identical; All of them.

Be sure to get the old one out....and I have seen several that LOOKS like they are not there but they are. When the crush and have been run for years they seem to get absorbed into the exhaust port LOL.

Well you were right on. The old seal was flattened out and was barely noticeable. Got it out and replaced with new one. It fit like it should. That was three days of head scratching and researching. Guess I will be sending back all the other gaskets that I ordered.
