Hey GUY's what fork angle is best on a custom wheeler ??? Our quad set-ups were like 6 for MX and 7 for dunes yet a totally different animal ... Any thoughts ??? And thanks for any input ...

You can not go by simply fork angle. You must go by rake angle. The difference is fork angle does not account for axle placement. If leading VS trailing axle - can be a few degrees off either way and a few degrees means a whole lot when it comes to handling. The rake angle is what you are after. Best way to do it - measure off of an existing good handling trike, like a stock 250R.

The "Trail" number is what your looking for. Track bikes need less trail, dune or open desert bikes need more trail. The fork angle, rake and fork offset are all used to get to the desired trail number. On a trike, in general, you want to keep the trail around 3". A bit more for high speed stability, a bit less for quicker turns.
