I posted it up and got a few texts, 2 people actually showed up, 1 guy said there wasnt enough room for him to make a profit when he flips it. I'm getting quite a few offers in the 300 to 400 dollar range. have I been out of trikes so long that these things really aren't worth that much anymore? jim

Seems average price for condition out here in so cal. Runs with a title is a real plus out here. I would say raise the price to 1k OBO and take offers. If you don’t sell it I’m always taking donations to my personal museum. [emoji23](aka my garage) Good luck.

I would raise the price and then they may start offering what you wanted to begin with.
$700 for running is definitely fair. Some people just want to hit you lower than what you list it for even if listed price is fair.

Also, another thread about this, CL isn't the place to sell much anymore. People still use it but unfortunately, fB is the place to list. You will get crazy offers but definitely more eyes.

I gave up on all the lowball texts, emails that people only wants to know the lowest price before they even look at it.
I went and pulled the stock headlight off my second 200x, going to order a seat cover and install the tail light from the other trike. just make 1 nice one and either sell the second one with the worse plastics and 250r headlight or just make room and keep both. they both run and are titled, no sense giving them away just to make room. jim

I had a really hard time selling a clean 85 200x in az for 1k. A beater 70 brings the same lately.

It all depends on what they are getting in your area. A few years ago, ATCs were going for really cheap here. Lately I have noticed the prices have gone up a bit. CL can be frustrating though. When I was selling my HD motorcycle, I priced it at a fair price but I would get calls from guys and the first thing they would say is, "Whats the lowest price you will take?" How about ya come and look at it and make an offer? So annoying. I kinda chewed one guy out a little for doing that and told him to come out and look at it. He came out, sat on it and then asked, "Whats the lowest you will go?" I told him I wouldn't play that game. I told him that if he is interested he could make an offer. After some deep breaths and hand-wringing he said he was going to go look around some more. Whatever. Another guy came out and made an offer and bought it. Just be patient and hold out for your price. You know what it is worth and someone will come out who will too.

heck, maybe I should sell my 2 atc70s.
I bought a 70 el camino project in the summer, got it running, body was nice, installed a cowl hood, runs with tubular suspension front and back, 12 bolt 4.10 posi etc. decided to make room and only got $4000 for it. I bet the front suspension and brakes cost 1500 alone. jim

I had a really nice all original 200x That I could not give away here in so cal. It finally went to Phoenix AZ for $900. This trike was in pristine condition. But people here are getting $1500 for a pieced together ATC 70. Just goes to show you That absolutely nothing makes sense here in California.

pulled all the best parts and installed them on 1 trike. put the other 200x up for sale for $400 we'll see.
it's probably worth more in parts but I'm not parting a running trike. jim

unfortunately tucson is a low budget town. unless it can be gotten cheap enough so the buyer can flip it somewhere else, nothing seems to move. cars, bikes, guns, jim
