YT175 Front Suspension Swap with YTM200

Hi. I'm new to the forum and looking for threads on swapping a ytm200 from triple clamp and suspension onto a yt175. I know the process is involved so I'd like to see how others have done it before I go for it.

Probably not a common swap as the end result would be that you’re replacing a horrible front end with a horrible front end.

Look into a YTM 225 front end if you’re looking to upgrade, but be warned that most of them are bent. No idea about the interchangeability on your trike, but the 225 forks are a lot better than the 200’s.

I don’t know what all was involved, but back in the day when guys would put a rear suspension on the 175 Tri-Motos some would also install a DT175 forks.
