Hey guys I’m currently stumped about what’s going on with my bike. I can start it up first or second pull ride it around for as long as I like but as soon as I kill the engine and want to start it back up I can’t it acts kinda like it’s flooded. I have to wait for about 30 min or so and it will fire back up again.

What kind of "bike"?

Is the motor hot when it does this?

Have you pulled the plug when it does this to see if it's wet?

Maybe carb is loading up on fuel when it's shut off but I'm that case, you should see some dropping from the overflow tube

It’s a 83 Yamaha tri moto 200. Yeah the motor is hot when this happens. I don’t see anything coming out of the carb over flow but I haven’t checked the plug I’ll do that next.

Try checking your reeds, also could be a bad coil.
Sometimes a bad coil will work well till it warms up, once warmed up it will start to bog then die.
